What the app keeps.
- Your account. Email address, first name, country, time zone and language.
- If you sign in with Apple or Google. The identifier and email address that service sends us.
- Your habits. Names, check-ins, streaks and reminders.
- Your game. Characters, ranks, fights and rewards.
- Your circle. Members, posts, photos, comments and reactions.
- What you read and listen to.
- Your Expo notification token is registered with Habit Cercle when you turn notifications on.
- On Android, Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) also creates an identifier for this app installation. Its automatic initialization may send this identifier and technical configuration information to Firebase when the app opens, before you choose whether to allow notifications. This step does not enable Habit Cercle reminders.
- Your clubs. Clubs you create or join, join requests, posts, comments, reactions and reports.
- Technical logs linked to your connections: IP address, approximate geographic area inferred from that address, request date, duration and result. They help protect the service and resolve errors.
The camera is only used for photos you choose to take. The app never reads your contacts. It never records sound.
Why.
To run the app: track your habits, run your fights and share with your circle and the clubs you join.
Legal basis: performing the service you asked for (GDPR article 6.1.b).
Who sees what.
Check-ins stay private unless you enable sharing for that habit. Only new check-ins are then visible to your circle. A habit you attach to a club also shows that club's members its daily check and its streak, even if you do not share it with your circle. Missed days stay private: a club only sees your 30-day consistency, never the days themselves. Your circle can see your first name, your introduction, won fights, rank, books and posts. Your signature is neither stored nor sent: only the time of your vow is kept.
A club brings players together around the same habit. It is public: its name, description, habit template, member count and its creator's first name are visible to every signed-in player. You join once its creator approves, after seeing your profile card. Members of a club see your first name, your character, your introduction, your rank, the month you joined the app, your 30-day consistency (share of checks done, active days, longest current streak, number of habits tracked) and, only for the habit you attach to it, your daily check, your streak and its 7, 30 and 100-day milestones. They never see the names of your habits, your books, your fights or your circle's posts. What you post in a club is read by its members.
Zero ads.
No ads. No advertising trackers. Your data is never sold.
Who helps us.
Supabase. Database and files. Servers in Paris.
Expo. Routes Habit Cercle notifications.
Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging). Delivers them to Android and processes the installation identifier needed for this service.
This integration does not use Google Analytics, advertising targeting or exports of delivery metrics to BigQuery.
Open Library (Internet Archive). Searches for books using the words or ISBN you enter.
Serper. May find a missing cover using the book's title, author and ISBN. Your name and email address are not sent for this search.
Vercel. Hosts this website.
Book searches go through our server. Search and notification providers may process data outside the European Union. Their policies describe their own processing: Open Library, Expo, Google and Serper.
How long.
We keep your account data while your account exists. Deleting it removes your photos and other content from Habit Cercle. If your account contains data from a previous photo character flow, its source photo and media are also deleted. Any earlier Apple purchase records remain stored separately to track transactions and refunds, with no link to your account or creation: transaction identifiers, product, dates and states. This version offers no new purchases.
From settings, you can download your data and request deletion of your account and photos. Events retained for friends are dissociated from your account. Your clubs are included in the export. On deletion, your club memberships, requests, posts and comments are erased. A club you created passes to its longest-standing active member, or closes if none remains.
Your rights.
You can access, correct, export or erase your data. You can also object to a processing or ask to restrict it. In the app: Profile tab, then Settings. Or write to contact@pharm6.com.
You can also contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
Minimum age.
Habit Cercle is for people aged 15 and over.
